The development of various skills is key to a dancer's growth. We focus on technical skills, performance and creative skills.

At Chattanooga Dance Theatre, we work to empower students. While solid technicque is taught, it is always taught in an encouraging way. Teachers help students set goals and assist dancers to achieve them. Dancers feels supports, accomplished and read to take on more in life.
Inclusivity
With a welcoming atmosphere, the student encourages dancers of all ages and levels to join. We encourage individuality. Students help one another.
Friendship
Not only are the teachers supportive at CDT, but the students are supportive of each other. It's an encouraging environment that expressed by many and dancers often create life long friends.
Accountability
Students at CDT, learn accountability in class and preparing for performances. Dancers are required to adhere to dress code, have hair properly pulled back and all necessities in their dance bag. Students might use this skill outside of the studio.
Self Improvement
Dancers at Chattanooga Dance Theatre, strive for personal growth. Through goa setting, constructive feedback and challenging comfor zone, dancers will grow in the technical skill and confidence.
