Giselle and Contemporary Works

Enjoy a fantastical performance beginning with new, contemporary works by local choreographers. Your magical experience will continue with the full length romantic tragedy ballet, Giselle. Follow this young beautiful peasant girl as she falls in love with disguised and flirtatious nobleman, Albrecht. When she discovers his true identity and engagement with Princess Bethilde, she dies of a weak and broken heart. Giselle must then join the ghostly Wilis while Albretch live with guilt of his careless seduction.

Virtual or In-Person Tickets

Audiences will be held at half capacity (only 44 tix!) and will ensure 6 feet of distance between each group. Audiences at CDT will be required to wear masks.

Live streaming ticket holders will enjoy the show in real time from the comfort of your own home are also available. 

All tickets are $15, plus a $1 processing fee.

Tea Party

In-Person OR Virtual Experiences

Enjoy an afternoon with Giselle and her friends with crafts, performances, dancing, photo opts, tea and cookies! 

March 8th 2:30-4:00

Perfect for audience members ages 3-9 who want a special Giselle experience. Dancers will paint a pointe shoe, decorate their own flower crown, watch Giselle dance with her friends, practice their own peasant dances and take pictures on the set of Giselle. Tea and Cookies will be served outside in to-go fashion. The in-person party will be honoring the TN pledge by wearing masks, maintaining 6 feet distance, and limiting capacity to 50%. 

The virtual experience will be lead on Zoom by Giselle herself! Parents can pick-up craft baskets for the at home event on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday.
